Slideway Gantry Machining Centersare mainly used in large mold, precise machinery parts, aerospace, digitalelectronics products and various other industries. This series fully representsHarvest Star’s experience in machining. This series is capable of machiningvarious large, plate, shell, mold and other types of precision machiningprocess. All process of milling, boring, drilling, reaming, tapping and otherprocesses steps could be accomplished efficiently at one setup of workpiece. Itfulfills a variety of industries’ machining requirement. 

1.This series comeswith two speed geared drive transmission. Transmission efficiency can reach 98%with high-speed gear archiving higher efficiency. Low-speed gear offers higher stiffnessin cutting. Spindle speed is 6000RPM.

2.One piece design for base structure as well as beam & columnsresolved stiffness and vibration issues. All major structures are casted using HT300resin sand molding. Casted structures are heat treated to eliminating residualstress. Casted structures does not have structural deformations even afteryears of usage.

3.Spindle comeswith intelligent thermostat system which controls oil cooling thus ensuringtemperature stability for extensive period of operation.

4.All slideway guide rails were preprocessed with high-frequencyheat treatment attaining hardness of HRC55 or above. Furthermore, all guiderail surfaces have scraping treatment and are covered with Turcite®-B wearable surfacewhich results in stick-slip free operation and lower vibration duringheavy-duty cutting.

5.Z-axisand spindle center-line are designed to be on the same plane. Such design canimprove torque balancing, and enhance cutting performance.
